A note on documentation terminology

A Lumen negative is a negative that is exposed by placing it directly in sunlight or skylight without any recourse to cameras or other protective enclosures.  It is exposed over an extended period of time.

A print-out photograph is made outside in direct sunlight or skylight.  The photographs are made with various types of Black and White papers.  These photographs are not developed, simply fixed, the density and colours occur as a reult of the atmospheric conditions and exposure times.
